BYD BATTERY BOX PREMIUM LVS 8.0 – 48 V battery

The new system generation is based on the known storage systems and has all previous functions. With the Battery Box Premium LVS, the new series offers almost 10% more capacity with slightly smaller dimensions. A significant reduction in the weight of the BCU (Battery Control Unit) reduces the total weight. Each battery module can now deliver 90 A for 5 seconds, making the new 48 V series suitable for off-grid applications. For commercial use, up to 64 battery modules with a total capacity of 256 kWh can be interconnected to form a system. For quick installation, the new BYD battery also relies on the proven connector system for easy installation without battery cables. Only the BCU must be connected to the inverter via a battery cable. This makes this battery ideally suited for universal use in homes and businesses. Consistent software ensures that the BYD Battery Box Premium LVS remains compatible with SolarEdge, SMA and GoodWe inverters.
