The return flow domestic hot water heat pump is a water/water heat pump that extracts thermal energy from the return flow of a floor heating system. The pump of the domestic hot water heat pump extracts the required amount of water from the heating circuit for heat generation. It is not necessary to switch off the heating in summer. The prerequisite is that the valves of the underfloor heating are set to “open” in the default configuration.
